    The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration issued a warning to drivers about counterfeit airbags made overseas have been installed in possibly thousands of vehicles across the US. Just this year, over 2500 counterfeit airbags have been confiscated in Tennessee and North Carolina.  The fake bags look identical to a regular airbag and even brand logos of the major car manufacturers.
